Lutgen

Marc joined Waterland in 2020 and is the Head of Investor Relations. He is also a member of the ESG Committee.

Previously, Marc spent 12 years at MVision Private Equity Advisers in London, New York and Hong Kong. Marc has known Waterland for over a decade and while at MVision, he worked on the fundraising of WPEF V, WPEF VI and WPEF VII. In 2019, Marc was recognised by Private Equity International (PEI) in “Future 40: The next leaders of private equity.”

Prior to MVision, Marc spent three years with Capital Dynamics in Zug, Switzerland and London, where he supported their global fundraising effort. He gained his first private equity experience at Invision AG in Zug and Deutsche Beteiligungs AG in Frankfurt.

Marc holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Manchester and a BSc in International Business from Lancaster University. He also received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2010.
